Client Area
Viewing Ads

• Members can search through ads by a specific category or all categories
• Members can browse and view ads through all available categories if they are not looking for a specific item and don't wish to use the search
• Search results display each matched ad, and show the category tree to the left of the search results to help users narrow their search further
• Members have the ability to save searches to use at a later date
• Members can view ads to see price, description, photos, and more
• Allow members to add an ad to their watch list if they wish to come back to it later
• Allow members to email a specific ad to a friend - great for gaining traffic to your site!
• Send messages to members with any questions
• View sellers other ads with the click of a button
• Add seller to favorites list

Posting Ads

• Posting an ad through our classifieds software is simple, and users are stepped through the process
• Members begin by selecting a category they wish to advertise their ad in 
• If subcategories existing for the category they chose, they are asked to select a subcategory
• Members can give their ad a title, price, define inputs based on how custom fields are set up in the administrative area (for example, members can define whether a book is in good, fair, or poor condition if that custom field is set up in the administrative area)
• Members can select the contact information they wish to show in the ad
• Members can upload photos, and the price of each upload is displayed to them (the prices are defined in the administrative area)
• Members can write their own description for the ad

Account Management

• View account activity, balances, and easily pay any outstanding invoices
• View and modify account contact information
• Sign up for subscriptions predefined by the administrator and manage existing subscriptions
• View the billing history by month, or within a specified date range

Mail System

• Our classified ads software allows your members to message each other internally through your site
• Compose new messages and allow members to use emoticons
• Our software notifies members if there are any new unread messages
• Members can view their inbox and read all received messages
• Members can easily review messages they've sent to other members

Administrative Area
Template Customization

• Fully template based. Integrate your own look and feel for the site!
• Select from all of the different HTML page and email templates available in our classified ads software and modify them through the powerful administrative area
• Use our powerful What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor to customize template files
• Preview the changes you make to the templates before you publish them live to your website in all popular resolutions
• webClassified's template system allows you to easily insert predefined tags, such as an error message or notification, anywhere in the page through our WYSIWYG editor
• Use our Asset Manager to easily upload images and media files to your website and include them as part of your layout
• Easily roll back to the original template file if you made a mistake that corrupted the template

Categories

• Create categories and subcategories where your members can create new ads
• Our classified ads software allows you to add custom fields for each category. For example, make 'Condition' a custom field associated with the 'Used Books' category only
• Manage the contents of your custom fields easily through the input management section
• Censor certain words from being posted on the site, such as offensive language

User Management

• Find your site's members quickly and easily. Search by username, first name, last name, and email address
• Manage each member's account information including billing plans, balances, and contact information
• Manually create member accounts in the administrative area

Listing Management

• Our classified ads software allows you to approve each listing or automatically approve all listings that come in.
• View all pending listings that have not been approved by the website administrator and approve with the click of a button
• Search through all listings, review, and modify. Search by title, username, and email
• Edit existing listings and make changes quickly
• Add Eye Catchers that your members can use in their listings. Eye catchers are displayed in the search results and attract attention. This is also a great option to charge extra for!
• Easily add predefined decline responses. This cuts down on your administration time and allows you to easily decline listings by choosing a predefined reason

Billing

• Easily charge for photo uploads. Our classified ads software allows you to be very flexible with this. For example, you can make the first photo upload free, and charge for each additional upload
• Charge for bolding listings in search results, adding eye catchers, adding image thumbnails, or making listings featured
• Easily add, delete, or modify existing billing plans
• View your entire billing history through our administrative area. Sort by date, amount, method, and more. You can also search for specific transactions
• View all pending check/money orders. Easily approve each transaction after you have received and cashed the check/money order

Communication

• Send out an email to all of your members through our newsletter feature. Send newsletters in HTML or plain text and easily stay in touch with your members
• Send out an internal newsletter to all members. Internal newsletters show up in members' mailboxes on your classified ads site
• Create predefined newsletters that you plan to reuse many times, and easily select from these predefined newsletters when sending mail
• Easily send a message to specific users. This is a great tool if you'd like to contact one specific member

System Settings

• Easily configure the database connection settings
• Change the admin username, password, and email address
• Set up time zones and how dates/times are displayed
• View the system health to make sure everything is functioning properly
• Configure general site setting such as balance limits, search results, mail, and censored words
